Overall Theme Sag to Cap:
Moving from the Vision (Sagittarius) to the Task (Capricorn)
Steve Forrest - Book of the Moon (Audiobook)
Void of Course is a “Timeout" from the soul’s evolutionary work. Since the Moon is between its "assignments," it is a time to be rather than to do. It is an invitation to release the "structures of reason" and listen to the mysterious, non-linear language of the heart.
“For the Void Moon, the best strategy is to let life breathe rather than trying to force results. It’s a time when the psyche turns inward and the world is less responsive to our efforts. Meditation, reflection, spiritual practice, or simply drifting with the moment tends to work better than launching something new.”
Dane Rudhyar - “Cyclic Gaps”
“A void Moon represents a period when the momentum of experience has run out and a new direction has not yet formed. During such times it is wise to observe rather than act. The moment favors awareness and integration rather than decisive initiative.”
William Lilly
“…You shall seldom see a business go handsomely forward when she is so (void of course).”
Noel Tyl - The Moon Represents Our “Reigning Need”
“When the Moon is void-of-course, circumstances tend not to develop as expected. Matters begun during that interval often fail to reach completion or move in a direction different from what was intended. The practical counsel is simple: avoid beginning important undertakings.”
Rick Lavine
“A void Moon is like cosmic ‘neutral.’ The energy of the previous aspects has dissipated and the next story hasn’t begun yet. It’s excellent for wandering, dreaming, finishing loose ends, or simply letting things unfold without expectation.”
Mark Jones
“The void-of-course Moon describes a liminal state — a gap in the narrative. In psychological astrology, these spaces can be fertile because the ego loses control and deeper patterns emerge. But they are rarely ideal for pushing worldly agendas.”
i.e. - Wait until the moon enters Capricorn to try to climb the mountain
Steven Arroyo
A void Moon can symbolize a pause in the flow of events. Activities that require clarity, direction, or commitment may drift without clear results. However, it can be a very creative time if one is willing to explore possibilities rather than demand outcomes.”
Robert Hand
“Traditionally the void-of-course Moon was considered an indicator that ‘nothing will come of the matter.’ In practice this usually means that events proceed in an unexpected way or fail to produce the anticipated result.”
Marc Edmund Jones
“A void Moon often shows that the individual is not fully engaged in the matter at hand. Efforts may lack traction because the situation itself is not yet ready to develop.”
Deborah Houlding
“A void Moon suggests delay or lack of development in the situation being asked about. It can mean nothing happens, the issue stalls, or that the matter ultimately proves unimportant.”
Al H. Morrison (Book on VOC timing) - 1916 - 1995
“The void-of-course Moon is best used for subjective or spiritual activities rather than practical decision-making. Decisions made during these times often prove unrealistic when viewed later.
Actions taken while the Moon is void of course somehow always fail of their intended or planned results. Feed your soul until the time the Moon enters the next sign. Then, go back into business!"
Jeffrey Wolf Green
Voids of course are the “lens" of a movie projector. During a VOC period, you can think of the soul as "re-calibrating the lens." The Moon represents our current-life self-image; when it is void, the "projector" is still on, but it isn't projecting a new scene yet.
Moon Leaving Sagittarius & Entering Capricorn
The Sagittarius VOC can leave you feeling distracted. There's not going to be a lot of focus or organization here. It doesn't have to be a bad thing, though. Use it for brainstorming and finding solutions. Then go back at a later time, after the void of course Moon has passed, and pick out the best ideas that hold the most potential.
Hi team, love your work and daily podcast. I’m trying to remember a reference Thomas made one year about a void of course moon inquiry. What is you guys view on if I send off my tax return during a void of course timeframe? Am I thinking correctly that nothing would come of it if sent during a void of course, and it would process without being flagged for audit? Does it depend on the moon transit before the void? I’m not trying to do anything illegal, just want it to go smoothly without issues. Haha
Thanks guys
What a great question, Teresa. Especially because we are talking about the upcoming void Moons tomorrow and a really special episode Wednesday for the "Big One." Yes, you are remembering right! The idea of the VOC (void of course) moon is that things just go flat.
I'll give you a little preview of Wednesday. Astrologer Deborah Houlding said "It can mean nothing happens, the issue stalls, or that the matter ultimately proves unimportant" - and that's exactly what you want with a tax return! Send it in like you're supposed to, and if it is honest and legit, nothing happens. Now, for those contemplating fudging here and there, Pluto and Saturn are both super strong, so I wouldn't touch that with a 50 foot pole!
Here's the schedule this week, if you have your taxes done already. (Eastern Daylight TIme)
Monday: 7:28 am - 11:36 am
Wednesday - 5:38 am - Thursday 12:07 am (18.5 hours!)
Saturday - 7:33 am - 11:13 am
Great question and hope this helps!
We're not going to be taking podcast time this week to discuss the Iraqui situation, so I recorded a 20-minute video if you're interested to see the charts pertaining to the situation. This looks at the fist initiation Saturday, that first strike over Iran's chart, Donald Trump's chart and the US Sibly and July 2nd chart. Spoiler alert: As you would expect with a powerful Uranus and Mercury retrograde, results are inconclusive, but interesting to observe.
Mercury is officially retrograde in Pisces.
This is an emotional and intuitive review — not just miscommunications, but sometimes misunderstandings of the heart or subconscious. In Pisces clarity comes from pausing, not pushing.
Over the next few weeks, notice:
🌊 What keeps resurfacing
🌊 What feels unfinished
🌊 Where you need compassion instead of control
🌊 What your intuition is guiding you to
Look at your chart and find the house Pisces rules. That’s where this review is happening:

Saturn and Neptune are meeting in Aries right now!
Reality and vision combine.
Responsibility meets faith.
Something imagined is asking to take form.
In Aries, this is personal. Identity-level. Initiatory.
Maybe a dream becoming more serious, an illusion dissolving, a new version of yourself emerging, or a pressure to grow in ways you didn’t plan for.
If things feel tender or uncertain, that makes sense. We’re between eclipses.
Below are some ways this energy may move through your chart. Take what resonates.
1st House
A powerful identity reset. You’re stepping into a more honest, self-led version of yourself.
2nd House
Clarifying your values and building stability around what truly matters. Long-term security begins with self-trust.
3rd House
Your voice matures. Ideas become more focused. You’re learning to speak with both conviction and compassion.
4th House
Restructuring foundations. Creating a home (internally or externally) that reflects who you’re becoming.
5th House
Creative dreams turn into commitments. Joy becomes something you protect and prioritize.
6th House
Daily life gets intentional. Habits align with purpose. Discipline becomes devotion.
7th House
Relationships clarify. Commitments deepen where they’re real. Boundaries strengthen where needed.
8th House
Deep healing and empowerment. Shared dynamics become more conscious and balanced.
9th House
Beliefs evolve. Vision becomes grounded. You begin living what you once only imagined.
10th House
Career and public identity align with integrity. Long-term direction sharpens.
11th House

12th House
Old subconscious patterns dissolve. Spiritual maturity deepens. Solitude can be clarifying.
I'm so curious to see what comes of my 10th house. A department I've always wanted to work for has a temp position posted. I coworker messaged it to me. I think I'll apply and see was happens. :)
Hi Teresa! Here you go. You can also get here by clicking the graphic at the top of the webpage. It's not as obvious and I'll see if I can paste this in below it. Thanks for asking!
The sky is saying "Whoa," not GO!" This is a time to err to caution....until April at least. Case in point, Lindsey Vonn. At 41, this was her last chance to come back on a re-built knee and win Olympic metal. On Jan 30 in a World Cup, she tore her ACL. The sky would have said, "that's it." She pressed. Here's the result.
Uranus is strong.
Err to caution.
As of last Tuesday, when Uranus turned direct, the energy felt incredibly strong and very personal for me. At that moment, Uranus was exactly opposing my Mars in Scorpio in my 6th house, and it manifested quite literally—I ended up in the ER after hours of significant pain and was ultimately diagnosed with diverticulitis.
At the time, I felt relieved to have a diagnosis, especially knowing it wasn’t something like a ruptured appendix. What I didn’t fully grasp then was how deeply this would impact my day-to-day life. I haven’t been able to eat a proper meal since Monday night, and I’m still struggling physically and emotionally.
I’m 41 and haven’t yet experienced my Uranus return, which honestly adds another layer of fear right now. I know we often talk about staying on the highest timeline, but I’m finding this moment really difficult and could use some support.
Every day has been challenging, and the nights feel even harder. We just purchased our first home, which closes this week, and I can’t even help with packing or much of anything. If I manage to get up and make something small, I have to lie back down again.
I’ve never experienced a health crisis like this before, and learning what my body can and can’t tolerate has been overwhelming. I’m trying to stay positive, but I’ll be honest—it’s really hard right now.
If anyone is willing to send positive thoughts, supportive energy, or even a bit of hope my way, I would be so deeply grateful. Thank you all so much for holding space and for reading.
As a side note, what’s been especially striking is that I haven’t been the only one experiencing something intense during this window. On Tuesday, my mom had a heart-related issue that deeply frightened her. My aunt—who shares my birthday (April 24th)—ended up with vertigo and significant brain fog that lasted until yesterday, which feels notable with Pluto currently squaring our Suns. A close friend’s father passed away on Wednesday. Then yesterday, my sister-in-law shared that her sister’s two-month-old baby had been hospitalized for four days last week. On top of that, her mother fell yesterday due to extreme abdominal pain, lost consciousness, hit her head, and was taken to the hospital, where they discovered her appendix had ruptured and she’s now awaiting surgery.
Seeing so many serious and traumatic events affecting people in my immediate circle within such a short span of time feels jaw-dropping. I don’t have everyone’s charts, but it’s hard not to sense that something significant is moving through the collective right now. It’s been a lot to hold, especially while navigating my own health crisis.
Oh Ashleigh, I’m so sorry to hear! But thank you for sharing, I’m glad that you’re already getting support. I pulled your chart as soon as I read your message. What stands out to me is the timing and how literal this activation has been. Uranus opposing your Mars (especially with Mars ruling your 6th house) is a sudden request for adjustment through the body.
I also noticed this began just after the Full Moon that formed a T-square to your Scorpio Saturn in the 6th house, which feels like a moment of accumulated pressure reaching visibility, information surfacing so it can be addressed.
Uranus already conjoined your Chiron but went retrograde. And now moving direct, this feels like a new integration coming. And with the current Aquarius transits activating your Aquarius Moon, it’s another call to the body. But keep in mind, there is no timeline needed, rest and support are part of the process. Wishing you healing, much love🤍
Thank you for your kind words and pulling my chart too! ❤️
This does confirm for me that I am starting to understand astrology, although it was hindsight for this transit. Perhaps this is good practice to be able to see upcoming transits and how they will play out in my life.
This is certainly changing the foundation of my day-to-day habits and tasks. It has made me slow down so much. A little too much but on the positive side I know I'm connecting to my body more clearly. I will learn what works for me and what doesn't and how I can ensure that I give myself the best opportunity to heal.
Thank you again for taking the time to reply. I greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. ✨️🤍✨️
I always keep an eye on Mercury just because it seems like everyone feels it - regardless of your knowledge of astrology. Question: on these charts, do the peak indicate the exact aspect to the planets shown at the top of the peak?
Thanks for pointing that out. Because the "hill" isn't as obvious at first glance, it didn't strike me as important as it is. Good reminder to look at all the the activity. :)
Neptune has moved into Aries, and in just two weeks, Saturn follows.
These are big transitions!
Neptune dissolves illusion.
Saturn builds reality.
Aries asks: Who are you when you choose yourself?
Together, this marks a rare moment where vision (Neptune) comes before structure (Saturn).
To work with this energy, look at your natal chart and find the house ruled by Aries. That area of life is being spiritually redefined now and will soon be stabilized through responsibility, boundaries, and long-term effort.
Here’s what each house is being asked to clarify and commit to:
🔥 1st House – Identity, embodiment, self-leadership
Who are you becoming when you stop performing and start living?
🔥 2nd House – Money, values, self-worth
What is truly worth your time, energy, and devotion?
🔥 3rd House – Communication, mindset, learning
Where are you being asked to speak more honestly—or listen differently?
🔥 4th House – Home, roots, emotional safety
What kind of inner foundation actually supports you now?
🔥 5th House – Creativity, joy, self-expression
What wants to be created without approval or outcome?
🔥 6th House – Health, routines, daily devotion
What does sustainable self-care really look like for you?
🔥 7th House – Relationships - loving and open competitors, boundaries
Where are you being asked to choose truth over people-pleasing?
🔥 8th House – Intimacy, trust, shared resources
What patterns around control, vulnerability, or merging are dissolving?
🔥 9th House – Beliefs, purpose, meaning
What philosophy are you ready to live—not just believe?
🔥 10th House – Career, visibility, leadership
What kind of authority feels aligned rather than forced?
🔥 11th House – Community, future vision
Who do you want to build the future with?
🔥 12th House – Healing, surrender, the unseen
What is ending quietly so something braver can begin?
💬 Reflection prompt:
What house does Aries rule in your chart—and what feels like it’s softening now that you’ll soon be asked to take seriously?
High timeline living means letting clarity emerge before commitment. The sky is showing us where that begins. ✨
Thanks, Ashleigh! Glad you enjoyed it. It really does get the message across, doesn't it. The balloon has no air!
